About Me
My name is Sara Alcorn-Luparello and I'm a Librarian! This page will give you a glance at my educational background, my practical experience, and highlight some of my best work through the Digital Portfolio tab.

While my Library education was focused on archives and public libraries, I quickly learned how to use my traditional library skills in an increasingly digital world. I've been working in Digital Asset Management now for four years and have experience with a number of different digital asset management programs.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I found my home in middle America among the Cornhuskers and red beer. Although I currently live in Omaha, I spent a few years in New York City living and learning about bagels, Long Island accents, and librarianship. My time in New York made me uniquely qualified for moving large analog collections online, as well as providing me with the specialized skill of accurately applying lipstick on the subway.

In my free time, I read and review books over on instagram @BigBorrowedBooks. If you ever need a book recommendation or just want to look a pretty photos, check it out!
